Judicial Administration Council Board Chairman Asmelash WoldeSelassie steps down

Judicial Administration Council Board Chairman Mr. Asmelash W/Selassie and other two board members have stepped down from their positions. In order to make the judicial system reliable and impartial with strong follow-up and supervision, the parliament has been deliberating in appointing 3 nominees replacing the former members Mr. Asmelash W/Selasssie, Mrs. Genet Tadesse and Mr. Tesfaye Daba. Among the nominees, the parliament has appointed Mrs. Senayit Endarge and Mr. Peteros Weldesenbet, and has decided to review Mr. Gebregziabehr Araya’s nomination and announce a new nominee. The parliament also approved the proclamation drafts for the Ethiopia-Rwanda agreement for information communication, agriculture and media sectors, and the loan agreement between Ethiopia and International Development Association to execute Ethiopia’s Economic Opportunity Projects.s
