Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki and Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed have arrived in Gondar, northern Ethiopia, on the first leg of their visit in the Amhara Region. They are accompanied by Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen, and Amhara Region President Gedu Andargachew. This is the 3rd time for President Isaias to visit Ethiopia since the Ethio-Eritrea peace agreement was signed last July.
