The Ethiopian Diaspora Trust Fund (EDTF) that was created by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed during his United States trip last July has kicked-off its worldwide fundraising campaign on Monday.
EDTF has raised $40,000 USD in 12 hours after the kickoff of the campaign.
EDTF chairman Prof. Al Mariam has told Mereja.com that the Prime Minister is asking a minimal contribution of $1 per day to help alleviate the multitude of problems facing Ethiopia. It gives everyone who supports the reform in Ethiopia the chance to help make a difference.
Currently, EDTF accepts contributions via Paypal and GoFundMe by going to its website, ethiopiatrustfund.org
