Ethiopian best seller novel author Yismake Worku lost partial memory after car accident

Yismake Worku is one of the most admired Ethiopian young authors. His novel, Dertogada, has sold over 200,000 copies within a few weeks of its publishing. The book was found to be controversial by the Ethiopian regime, which banned printers from printing it for a second round.

So far, the 31-year-old sensational author has published 13 books. But unfortunately, 8 months ago, the car he was driving was hit by a truck and suffered major injuries. He was briefly paralyzed and lost partial memory. He has not fully recovered from the paralysis. Now he barely speaks and some times he falls down while walking due to the poor medical treatment he has been receiving.
