This clean Ethiopian flag was displayed at a recent meeting in Jijiga involving Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed with leaders of the Oromo and Somali regions. There were several other flags with the ugly TPLF symbol inside the meeting hall, but the main flag behind the leaders who stood on the podium is the real one that all Ethiopians from every background love and cherish. Ethiopian patriots detest the TPLF-sanctioned symbol on Ethiopia’s flag because it has no meaning to the Ethiopian nation. Most Ethiopians, including prominent opposition leaders, refused to accept the meaningless logo at the risk of being arrested.
