The executive committee of Ethiopia’s ruling coalition, the Ethiopian People’s Democratic Party (EPRDF), has voted to become a unitary party at a meeting held on Saturday. Six members who belong to one of the four coalition members, the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), voted against the merger.
