Authorities in Indonesia have allowed an Ethiopian Airlines plane which was detained by the country’s air force on Monday to leave. The cargo plane was forced to land in Indonesia by fighter jets after entering the country’s airspace without permission.
Indonesian officials announced the decision to allow the Ethiopian Airlines plane to leave the country this week after a meeting between Air Force and Navy authorities. Officials from the Ethiopian government also met with Indonesian authorities during the week.
