Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed made an unannounced visit to several government offices on Friday, January 4. Abiy made an impromptu visit to the office of the Attorney General and the Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA).
The PM inspected the progress and working conditions of these government institutions during his visit. Abiy, who is Ethiopia’s first Prime Minister from the Oromo region, said it is time for the country to move away from ethnic violence and to focus on Economic pursuits.
