Officials in Egypt have expressed more concern over the impact that Ethiopia’s Grand Renaissance Dam would have on their country’s water supply. Cairo has long expressed fears over water shortage as a result of the dam.
The dam, which would be the largest hydroelectric power plant in Africa, has been under construction since 2011. Since the building of the hydroelectric dam started, Egyptian authorities have voiced concern that it would reduce the water flow of the Blue Nile.
