Former Ethiopian intelligence officials in court over plot to assassinate Prime Minister

Two Ethiopian ex-intelligence officials are in court over an attempt to assassinate Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. The two accused, Tesfaye Urge and Marcus Tsehaye, appeared in court this week.

Police officials told the court that they need more time to gather about the accused persons, who may be involved in some other crimes.
