High-ranking officials in Libya have discovered a mass grave that is believed to contain the remains of Ethiopian Christians killed by Islamic State (IS) militants.
The mass grave, which reportedly contained the bodies of 34 Ethiopians, was found after Libyan officials arrested and interrogated IS fighters. The grave is said to be located on a farm in Sirte. The Ethiopian Christians were reportedly shot, while some were beheaded.
The bodies have been exhumed and will be repatriated to Ethiopia.[…..] CONTINUE READING
