It is known that the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) and other opposition parties in exile came back to Ethiopia after Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed invited them to return home and participate in politics and moved to lift the terrorist designation of three major opposition political parties, OLF being one. Earlier this morning, twenty-two remaining senior officials of the Oromo Liberation Front who resided in different parts of the world have arrived in Addis Ababa led by Ato Gelessa Dilboo. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister Birtukan Ayaano and the Oromo Democratic Party head of secretariat Dr. Alemu Sime welcomed them at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. Ato Gelessa told the press that they will stand with OLF to accomplish the party’s objectives along with the Oromo people. He also appreciated the promising and positive changes in Ethiopia which are the results of the reform led by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
