Jawar Mohammed, political activist and founder of Oromia Media Network (OMN), sat down on an OMN program to give his personal views on a few topics. He discusses Ethiopia’s current situation, Addis Ababa and Administrative Boundaries and Identity Commission. It is known that the Ethiopian federal capital, Addis Ababa located in the heart of the Oromia region has been in controversy for the past few years. The Oromo Ethnic group, the largest in the country, have been demanding for a special interest law regarding the city, which they call 'Finfinee'. They recount a long history of atrocity which violently displaced them from their land i.e Finfinee and alienated from their culture. He also emphasized three issues that he believes are indisputable from Oromo people’s perspective. Regarding the Administrative Boundaries and Identity Commission Jawar praised Tigray region for rejecting the commission, he called upon all other regions to do the same.
