According to the report by Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC), Ahmed Ali, PM Abiy Ahmed’s father has passed away on Monday, June 18, 2019. Reports from Agaro Town’s Communication Bureau entail that Ato Ahmed had been receiving treatments at Jimma Specialized Hospital before passing away. The funeral will take place on Tuesday. Ato Ahmed Ali’s boy has been taken back to Gomma District, Beshahsa Kebele in Agaro town. There hasn’t been any official statement from the office of the prime minister on plans of the funeral and his attendance.
