Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed has arrived in Cairo, Egypt, where he was received by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on Saturday evening.
“The two leaders will hold bilateral and regional talks that will further bolster the relationship between the two countries,” the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff Fitsum Arega said.
It is rumored that the PM will ask Egypt’s assistance to bring back to Ethiopia the remains of 30 Ethiopians who were killed by ISIS in April 2015 to help bring closure to their families.
