The creepy Heritage Foundation -- a DC conservative think tank that peddles climate change denial and voter fraud while trying to smear critical race theory -- hosted General Tsadkan Gebretensae of the Tigray People's Liberation Front last week. It might be a first, seeing such a conservative organization invite a major figure of an insurgency still on U.S. law books as a terrorist group. Why, we might ask, is Tibor Nagy, a former U.S. ambassador to Ethiopia who bleats piously on Twitter about calls for peace, seeking to know if Tsadkan thinks his forces are capable of "maintaining a military posture?" (About 31:36 into the recording) Why are these individuals listening to this man at all?

The TPLF is responsible for using child soldiers and forced recruitment and has committed war crimes across the Amhara, Afar and Tigray regions over the last two years, including the Mai Kadra Massacre. You can see its cruel destruction for yourself in my video reports produced for Ethiopian TV.
