EPPF leadership says it has split up from Ginbot 7

The two opposition parties Ginbot-7 Movement for Justice, Freedom, and Democracy led by US resident Berhanu Nega (Ph.D.) and the Ethiopian People’s Patriotic Front (a.k.a Arbegnoch Ginbar) led by Eritrea-resident Meazaw Getu merged together and formed Patriotic Ginbot-7 Movement for Justice, Freedom, and Democracy in 2015. Following the appointment of Dr. Abiy as Prime Minister of Ethiopia and his radical reform programme that is overturning politics in the vast, it is remembered that members of political parties in exile came back to Ethiopia to participate in a peaceful struggle. But the formerly Eritrea-based opposition groups who had forged a front, have split up.  Arbegnoch Ginbar disclosed that it has ended its relationship with Ginbot 7.
