66 soldiers who marched to the Prime Minister's office disciplined

It is recent memory that two hundred soldiers marched to the palace to ask for a raise, benefits and discuss other administrative issues last month. Disciplinary measures were taken on 66 members of the Ethiopian Defense Forces who tried to get into the Prime Minister's office, armed. In addition to this, higher officials of FDRE Defense Forces have made structural reforms. The reforms included the decrease of the 6 brigades to 4 and decreasing the high number of soldiers in regional commands. Efficient regional commands and brigades were created by promoting effective structure. The main reason for decreasing the number of brigades was the opening of a new era of peace and friendship with Eritrea. Ethiopian defense forces also announced that it’s going to take actions on the instabilities that are caused in different regions of the country, by communicating with responsible bodies.
