Since no one else in my household has to deal with prediabetes, I have been trying to stay on my diet with the limited options at home, until I can go shopping tomorrow. After feeling very hungry after not eating enough, I caved and had two small slices of pizza with black beans for dinner. Afterward, I drank 3 glasses of water, and I was bracing myself for a high 1hr PP number. When I tested before I ate, it was 82, and my 1hr PP number was 78! Do you think the water is the reason why my numbers did not spike? I don’t intend on repeating this sort of thing often, but do you think this is a good way to work the glucose out of my system on those days where my meal may be too carby? Thanks!
