Ambassador Fitsum Arega participates in a prayer vigil in Washington DC

Following the attempted coup d’etat and the assassinations, Ethiopians residing local and all over the world are grieving through a heartbreaking time. In light of the recent events, Ethiopians residing in Washington DC organized a prayer vigil at Saint Mary Church. Many people including influential journalists such as Abebe Belew and more attended the ceremony to pay their respects. Ambassador Fitsum Arega, Ethiopian Ambassador to the United States, also attended the ceremony.
