Dagmawi Assefa is a lawyer and draftsman residing in Hawassa, Ethiopia. Unlike most, he has lived through tough times and is still going strong despite his injury. Mereja TV contacted him and sat down for an exclusive interview to hear his story. Dagmawi earned his BA in Law from Hawassa University and has been working alongside other lawyers when the unfortunate accident happened. He tells the story of how a defendant holding a grudge after losing a case to him and his friend resulted in a confrontation that has left him bound to a wheelchair.
