When the prosecution interviewed victims and witnesses, no one could confirm the real names of the officers except their code name, Abe Kebe. The name is popular among Ethiopians due to the famous Abe Kebe from Asela, an active radio listener and participant. He told Mereja TV his thoughts about his name being associated with spies at NISS.
