The people of Amhara have been stripped of their identity by the tyrannical regime of TPLF. False stories against Amhara have been fabricated and disseminated. Amharas have been made downhearted about their own leaders. The invading TPLF did every possible conspiracy thwarting Amhara Regional State’s plans to establish a strong security force. Amharas, in their country they love more than anything else, are seen wanderers.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner of the Amhara Regional State Police commission, Abere Adamu, said the Amhara Police and Special Force had been trivialized by TPLF for long. He said TPLF plotted day and night to deny the Amhara’s strong security force.
The Commissioner said, the security force is a symbol of the people’s respect and dignity. He said TPLF reviled such a dignity and grace to Ethiopia and Amhara. He also mentioned that the people of Amhara have risen up and stood in unison after the National Defence Force was attacked by the TPLF Junta.
The Commissioner, in his speech, emphasized that the local administration of Metekel is aware of the injustice in the area and the local administration itself will be in charge for all the failures.
He stated that the Amhara Regional State is working together with the Federal Government to create a peaceful land where everyone can live and work.

 

Commissioner Abere said the Amhara Special Force and Militia have been able to defend the people and the country with invincibility and bravery to withstand the onslaught of TPLF.
Abere added, the Special Force reached out to the National Defence Force (NDF) ahead of anyone else, freeing the hostages, stopping the TPLF junta group and destroying it.
