Four Colonels, who are suspected of collaborating with the criminal clique to incite unrest in the country, appeared in court today. Federal Police claimed that the suspects, Colonel Miruts Berhe, Colonel Gebremedhin Gebremeskel, Colonel Tesfaye Hagos and Colonel Mebrhatu Tedla have committed additonal crimes.The charges include inciting the Ethiopian army stationed on a peace keeping mission in Moqadishu to join the Tigray special forces, commissioning security personnel employed by various organizations to attack federal institutions, recruiting former members of the NDF to prepare them to war in Tigray, and receiving orders from senior TPLF leaders and OLF Shene groups. The next court hearing will be after 10 days as per the request by the Federal Police to gather additional evidence.
