The advancing Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) have liberated iconic Tigarayan cities Axum and Adwa today
 
Ministry of Defense yesterday briefed military attachés of various countries about the ongoing law enforcement operation of the federal government in the Tigray regional state.
Defense Minister, Dr. Kene’a Yadeta, and Defense Force Information Main Department Head Lt. General Asrat Denero jointly briefed the attachés on the current status of the military operation in the region.
Dr. Kene’a told the attachés that the main aims of the operation are to bring TPLF members suspected of crimes to justice and to enforce the rule of law.

 

He also said that TPLF has committed various serious crimes against civilians when it was in power for 27 years. “After its ouster from power, the party refused to hand over the suspected criminals.”
