የበይነመረብ ዘመቻ ጋዜጣዊ መግለጫ

የዘመቻው ርዕስ፦ የኅሊና እስረኞች ይፈቱ!

የዘመቻው ቀናት፦ የካቲት 16-17, 2008

የዘመቻው ዓላማ፦

1ኛ) በግፍ የታሰሩ ጓደኞቻችን እንዲሁም ሁሉም የኅሊና እስረኞች (በምርመራ ቀጠሮ ላይ ያሉ፣ ክስ ተመስርቶባቸው ፍርድ ቤት የሚመላለሱ እና የተፈረደባቸው) ያለ ቅድመ ሁኔታ እንዲፈቱ መንግሥትን ለመጠየቅ እና ከኢትዮጵያ መንግሥት ጋር የሚሠሩ አካላትም ተፅዕኖ እንዲያደርጉ ለመጠየቅ፤

2ኛ) በየእስርቤቱ ያሉ የፖለቲካ እስረኞች ያሉበትን ሁኔታ ለሕዝብ ማሳወቅ፤

3ኛ) ስለመረጃና የመናገር ነፃነት፤ ስለፍትሕ፣ ስለመንቀሳቀስ መብት፤ እና መሰል ሰብኣዊ መብቶች ግንዛቤ ማስጨበጥ እና መንግሥት እነዚህን መሠረታዊ መብቶች እንዲያከብር ዜጎች እስከጥግ ስለመብታቸው በመጠየቅ የድርሻቸውን እነወዲወጡ ማበረታታት።

የዘመቻው ቦታ፦ ዘመቻው በዋነኛነት የሚካሄደው ‹‹ፌስቡክ›› እና ‹‹ትዊተርን›› በመጠቀም ይሆናል፡፡ በተጨማሪም የተለያዩ ጦማሪዎችና የዜና አውታሮች በየጦማሮቻቸው ላይ በመጻፍ ዘመቻውን መቀላቀል ይችላሉ።

የዘመቻው ተሳታፊዎች፦ ያገባናል የሚሉ ሁሉ!

ዘመቻው ላይ መሳተፍ የሚቻልባቸው መንገዶች፦

1ኛ) በዘመቻው ወቅት ዘማቾች ፕሮፋይል ፎቶዎቻቸውን እና የከቨር ምስሎቻቸውን ለዘመቻው በተዘጋጁ የፖለቲካ እስረኞች ፎቶዎች (ወይም ራሳቸው ባዘጋጁት ምስል) እነወዲሁም አባባሎች በማስዋብ መቀየር፣

2ኛ) በየዕለቱ የተለያዩ ግንዛቤ የሚያስጨብጡ፣ በፖለቲካ እስረኞች አያያዝ፣ በፍርድ ቤት ቤት ሒደት እና መሰል ጉዳዮች ላይ የሚያውቁትን መረጃ በመጻፍ እና የተጻፉትንም በማጋራት፣

3ኛ) ስለሚያውቁት የፖለቲካ እስረኛ ማንነት እና ስለእስሩ ዝርዝር መረጃዎችን በማጋራት፣

4ኛ) መጠየቅ የሚፈቀድላቸው የፖለቲካ እስረኞችን በመጠየቅ አሰተያየቶቻቸውን እና ያሉበትን ሁኔታ መልሶ ለሕዝብ በማድረስ፣

5ኛ) ከፖለቲካ እስረኛ ቤተሰቦች ጋር በመነጋገር ያሉበትን ጥቅል ሁኔታ ይፋ በማድረግ… እና ወዘተ።

ዘላለም ወርቃገኘሁ ደ ብርሃን ብሎግ ላይ አጋር ጦማሪ ሆኖ ሰርቷል። በታሰረበት ወቅት ሃምሌ ሁለትሺ ስድስት በአዲስ አበባ ዩንቨርሲቲ የፐብሊክ አድሚኒስትሬሽን የማስተርስ ዲግሪ ተማሪ ነበር። ከአራት ወራት በሁዋላ ሲከሰስ  የግንቦት ፯ አባል በመሆን፤  በዓረቡ አገር የተከሰተው ሽብር በኢትዮጵያም ተከስቶ ሕገ መንግሥቱንና ሕገ መንግሥታዊ ሥርዓቱን በአመጽ ለመጣል ሰዎች መልምሏል ፣ ለዚህም የሚጠቀምበት አሥር ሺሕ ብር ተልኮለታል ተብሎ ተከሷል። በተጨማሪም ማኅበራዊ ድረ ገጽ በመክፈት፣ በአንድ አገር በአመጽና በግጭት ማኅበራዊ ለውጥ የሚመጣበትን ማብራሪያ የሚጠይቅ መልዕክት ተላልኳልም ተብሎ ተከሶ ነበር::  ይሄ ብቻ አደለም  ስለጎንደር ዩንቨርሲቲ ረብሻ በፈረንጆች አቆጣጠር ፳፩፩ መፃፉና ይህም በውጭ አገር ባሉ ድህረ ገፆች ላይ መውጣቱ፣ ሃገር ቤት ውስጥ ካሉ ጓደኞቹ ጋራ ስለፖለቲካ መወያየቱ መምከሩ ሁሉ በክሱ ወስጥ ተጠቅሰዋል። ከዘላለም ጋራ ሌሎች ሁለት ጓደኞቹ ታስረዋል፥ ዮናታን ወልዴና ባህሩ ደጉ፣  ጥፋታቸው ደሞ አንድ አሜሪካን አገር ያለ ኢትዮጲያውዊ ጋዜጠኛ አለ ባለው የኢንተርኔት ስልጠና ላይ ለመካፈል በማመልከታቸው። ክሱ ግን የሽብር ስልጠና ነው ይለዋል።

ከስድስት ወር በፊት ፍርድ ቤቱ ብዙዎቹን ክሶች ውድቅ አድርጎ አባላት ለመመልመል መሞከርና የኢንተርኔት ስልጠናውን ማመቻቸት በሚሉት ላይ እንዲከላከሉ ወሥኖ ነበር። በዚህም መሠረት ሁሉም የመከላከያ ምስክሮች የተሰሙ ሲሆን (ጋዜጠኛ እስክንድር ነጋን ጨምሮ)፤ በየካቲት 16 የመጨረሻው የመከላከያ ምስክር አቶ አንዳርጋቸው ፅጌ እንዲሰሙ  ቀጠሮ ተይዟል። ዘላለም አቶ አንዳርጋቸው ፅጌን መከላከያ ምስክር አድርጎ የጠራው በተለያዩ የመገናኛ ዘዴዎች ተገናኝተህ ነበር የሚል ክሱ ውስጥ ስለተካተተ ነው።

ደብርሃን ብሎግና ወዳጆቻችን የሁለት ቀን የበይነ መረብ ዘመቻ አዘጋጅተናል። በዚህ ዘመቻ ላይ በመሳተፍ እነዘላለምንና እነሱን የመሳሰሉ ሰዎች ከእስር እንዲፈቱ፤ ይህን አይነትም ኢፍትሃዊነት እንዲበቃ በጋራ እንድንጠይቅ ጋብዘናችሗል።

Media Advisory: Two Days Campaign For The Release Of Detained Co-Blogger Zelalem Workagegnehu, Co-Defendants

Thematic areas of the campaign: freedom of expression in Ethiopia, freedom of movement including for education purposes such as the course that our colleagues applied, good governance and the respect of the constitution, justice and similar themes.

Zelalem Workagegnehu, a Masters Degree Student at the Addis Abeba Univeristy and Co-Blogger of the Diaspora based De Birhan Blog/Multimedia, was detained on July 8, 2014 by the Ethiopian government securities from his home in Addis Abeba. Few days later, a number of his friends were also rounded up but most of them were later released on condition that they testify against him. Two of his colleagues, Yonatan Tesfaye and Bahiru Degu have remained arrested with him until today.

Zelalem Workagenehu, was charged in October 2014 with being the local leader of Ginbot 7 Movement, conspiring violent revolution with his friends, writing and sending reports that appeared on Diaspora based websites, receiving money from abroad to recruit members for Ginbot 7 and facilitating a social media and communication related course with his friends.

However, the court dropped most of the charges in August 2015 and now he is defending two charges, which are receiving money (10, 000 birr) from abroad to recruit members for the opposition Ginbot 7 and facilitating the social media course. The course never took place. Zelalem, Yonatan and Bahiru were tortured in Mea’kelawi Prison during investigations. Last month, award-winning journalist Eskinder Nega defended the trio to argue that applying for internet security or communication related course is legal and normal.

De Birhan, along with benevolent individuals, has been “beseeching and calling” for the release of the detainees using diplomatic channels, and mass media outlets. Now that almost all of the defense witnesses of Bahiru Degu and Yonatan Tesfaye have been heard and all of Zelalem’s but Andargahcew Tsige, who is called to be a defense witness on February 24, 2016, are heard, we find it necessary that we should take our campaign for the release of our colleagues to another step.

One official banner and three pictures will be used in the campaign, already made public. We ask campaign participants to change their social media profile pictures and put up these pictures.

The campaign will not be limited to two days but will properly respond to what transpires in the coming proceedings.
