According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.macotakara.jp\/blog\/rumor\/entry-20093.html\">Japanese website <em>Macotakara<\/em><\/a>, the handset will be available in a variety of colors, including Navy, Gold-Orange, White, Gray, Pink, Green, Blue and Yellow-Orange. Only 1,000 units of the low-cost <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/iphone\">iPhone<\/a> will reportedly be produced for field tests in June, with consumer production slated to take place between July and September. Earlier reports claimed Apple would <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/01\/09\/cheap-iphone-release-date-bloomberg-286562\/\">offer the device for as little as $99 or $149 from retailers<\/a>.
