{"id":752009,"date":"2013-05-18T18:37:16","date_gmt":"2013-05-18T22:37:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.talkandroid.com\/?p=162638"},"modified":"2013-05-18T18:37:16","modified_gmt":"2013-05-18T22:37:16","slug":"htc-employee-hints-at-an-htc-one-with-stock-android","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.com\/index\/752009","title":{"rendered":"HTC employee hints at an HTC One with stock Android"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a  href=\"http:\/\/www.talkandroid.com\/reviews\/phone\/htc-one-review-the-best-phone-on-the-planet-but-is-it-good-enough\/htc_one_front_main_ta\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-159099\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-159099\" alt=\"HTC_One_Front_Main_TA\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/img.talkandroid.com\/uploads\/2013\/04\/HTC_One_Front_Main_TA-630x519.jpg?resize=630%2C519\" width=\"630\" height=\"519\" \/><\/a>At the I\/O, <a  href=\"http:\/\/www.talkandroid.com\/162256-google-announces-unlocked-samsung-galaxy-s-4-with-stock-android-coming-june-26-for-649\/\">Google announced that a version of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 running stock Android<\/a>\u00a0will be for sale later this summer.\u00a0Could a &#8220;Google experience&#8221; HTC One with stock Android follow?\u00a0Leigh Momii, a Developer Evangelist at HTC posted a tweet possibly suggesting exactly that, stating &#8220;So you can pay $649 for a piece of plastic running stock or&#8230; You can wait.&#8221;\u00a0Trusted developer LlabTooFer said on Twitter he was positive that the tweet meant that &#8220;this summer we will see HTC One Google Edition&#8221; or something similar.<\/p>\n<p>HTC employee Jeff Gordon replied to Android and Me, who initially reported Momii&#8217;s tweet, saying\u00a0\u201cHTC is not currently planning a \u2018Nexus Edition\u2019 of the HTC One.\u201d \u00a0The key word in that statement is &#8220;currently,&#8221; as confirming\u00a0a new version of their flagship phone would definitely hurt current sales for HTC.<span id=\"more-162638\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If this rumor turns out to be true, could this be the start of more and more &#8220;Google experience&#8221; \u00a0Android phones?
