There <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/05\/01\/google-io-announcements-2013-keynote\/\">have been a flurry of reports<\/a> that have suggested that we <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/05\/10\/nexus-7-second-gen-google-i-o\/\">could see a variety of new products<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/03\/29\/google-babel-messaging-service-rumor-403387\/\">services being announced at the event<\/a>. One device that won't be making an appearance, however, is the <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/nexus-q\">Nexus Q<\/a>. According to <a href=\"http:\/\/allthingsd.com\/20130513\/will-google-deliver-on-its-nexus-q-promise-not-at-this-years-io\/?mod=atd_homepage_carousel\">a report from\u00a0<em>AllThingsD<\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/google\">Google's<\/a> ill-fated streaming device that\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2012\/06\/27\/nexus-q-social-streaming-media-player-announced-video\/\">debuted at last year's event<\/a>\u00a0will\u00a0not be relaunched at this year's show. The Nexus Q was initially criticized for its $299 price tag and limited capabilities. Google eventually <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2012\/08\/01\/google-nexus-q-delayed-indefinitely\/\">decided to postpone the launch of the device<\/a> to \u201cwork on making it even better,\u201d although we have heard little about it since.
