As <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2013\/04\/24\/nintendo-announces-another-testing-quarter-tktkt\/\"><em>Engadget<\/em> points out<\/a>, Nintendo has reported selling just 390,000 <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/wii-u\">Wii U<\/a> consoles over the past quarter, which puts its total number of consoles sold at just 3.45 million. This means that Nintendo <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/01\/30\/nintendo-wii-u-sales-outlook-311782\/\">didn't even hit its sales target of 4 million consoles sold by the end of March<\/a>, despite the fact that it was a downward revision from an earlier sales target of 5.5 million.
