What's more,\u00a0Pachter doesn't think there's much Nintendo can do to boost sales in the future as the Wii U's \"fortunes appear unlikely to improve for several months, even if Nintendo decides to drop [the] price, as there are an <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/04\/05\/sony-ps-vita-nintendo-wii-u-sales-415065\/\">insufficient number of core titles that are generating interest in the console<\/a>.\" In other words, it's not even clear at this point that <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/03\/15\/sony-playstation-vita-analysis-374049\/\">issuing a PS Vita-style price cut<\/a> can spark interest in the Wii U until the game selection for the console significantly improves.<img src=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/TheBoyGeniusReport\/~4\/IvuEoaMGdCw\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\"\/>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Wii U has been one of the least successful product launches in Nintendo&#8217;s history\u00a0so far and\u00a0Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter believes that there&#8217;s very little hope sales of the console will pick up anytime soon.
