But in one key area, the company may have strayed too far from its roots. The U.K.'s\u00a0Communications-Electronics Security Group, which\u00a0evaluates IT solutions and determines whether or not they may be used by the U.K. government, has decided that <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/blackberry-10\">BlackBerry 10<\/a> is not safe for essential government work, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/technology\/2013\/mar\/19\/blackberry-software-not-safe-enough-government-work\"><em>The Guardian<\/em> reported<\/a>. Earlier versions of BlackBerry's OS had received security clearance.
