Sources <a href=\"http:\/\/readwrite.com\/2013\/02\/13\/hp-to-adopt-android-for-upcoming-mobile-devices\">speaking to <em>ReadWrite<\/em><\/a> claim that the company is planning to release a high-end tablet that will be equipped with <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/01\/07\/nvidia-tegra-4-specs-launch-284482\/\">NVIDIA's new Tegra 4 processor<\/a> and powered by <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/google\">Google's<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/q?s=goog\">GOOG<\/a>) mobile operating system. It was also reported that <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2012\/09\/17\/hp-android-smartphone-ice-cream-sandwich-rumor\/\">HP may launch an Android-powered smartphone<\/a>, however earlier comments from CEO Meg Whitman indicated that <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2012\/10\/04\/hp-smartphone-no-2013-launch-planned\/\">a new handset won't be released in 2013<\/a>. The news of <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/hp\">HP's<\/a> migration to Android comes shortly after the company <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/02\/04\/hp-pavilion-14-chromebook-release-date-315646\/\">launched a new computer based on Google's Chrome OS<\/a>.
