It&#8217;s listed as being released today <a title=\"Sprint HTC Hero Android 2.1 update\" href=\"http:\/\/support.sprint.com\/support\/article\/Find_and_update_the_software_version_on_your_HTC_Hero\/case-gb746811-20091009-155624\">on Sprint&#8217;s support page<\/a>, though <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.sprint.com\/en\/software_downloads\/pda_smartphone\/htc_hero.shtml\">the download link is notably absent still<\/a>. Note that the upgrade will wipe your phone, so make sure all your important data is synced up somewhere.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rteleft\">Now, does anybody know if and when the&nbsp;Hero will be upgraded to Froyo?
