{"id":728524,"date":"2010-05-18T10:18:58","date_gmt":"2010-05-18T14:18:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sevensidedcube.net\/?p=11032"},"modified":"2010-05-18T10:18:58","modified_gmt":"2010-05-18T14:18:58","slug":"adam-wheeler-fakes-his-way-into-harvard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.com\/index\/728524","title":{"rendered":"Adam Wheeler Fakes His Way Into Harvard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Adam Wheeler<\/strong> was admitted to <strong>Harvard University<\/strong> and became a student in 2007 after he falsely claimed he had earned a perfect academic record at Phillips Academy in Andover and had studied for a year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.sevensidedcube.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/wheeler.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-11039\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.sevensidedcube.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/wheeler.jpg?resize=276%2C344\" alt=\"\" width=\"276\" height=\"344\" \/><\/a>23-year-old Adam Wheeler from Milton, Delaware also plagiarized his resume by saying he won the Winthrop Sargent Prize for English, and the Hoopes Prize for outstanding scholarly work.<\/p>\n<p>He has been accused of snagging<strong> $45,000 in financial aid<\/strong>, grants and scholarships. Wheeler spent the night in a Massachusetts jail and is now charged with more than <strong>20 counts<\/strong>, including identity fraud, larceny and forgery.<\/p>\n<p>According to authorities, Harvard started to look into Wheeler\u2019s background after he sought the school\u2019s endorsement for Rhodes and Fulbright scholarships.
