And, as often happens when confronted with fast food that looks good in ads, Bill was a little let down by what he found inside.<\/p>\n<p>Says Bill, who snapped these side-by-side pics of both the fried and grilled versions of the sandwich, &#8220;The KFC Double Down &#8216;sandwich&#8217; looked a lot better in the advertising photos&#8230; This is something I&#8217;ll only be buying once; they&#8217;re expensive! $4.99 each.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the full-size version of the pic. Is it just me, or does the cheesy interior look like a fried egg?
