{"id":702004,"date":"2010-03-26T14:25:00","date_gmt":"2010-03-26T18:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/androidandme.com\/?p=16772"},"modified":"2010-03-26T14:25:00","modified_gmt":"2010-03-26T18:25:00","slug":"sprint-hero-maintenance-release-scheduled-for-april-9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.com\/index\/702004","title":{"rendered":"Sprint Hero maintenance release scheduled for April 9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I think we have learned by now that these internal time frames are <a href=\"http:\/\/androidandme.com\/2010\/03\/news\/verizon-droid-does-android-2-1-this-week\/\">useless<\/a>, but <a href=\"http:\/\/phandroid.com\/2010\/03\/25\/rumor-sprint-htc-hero-getting-android-2-1-on-april-9th\/\">Phandroid<\/a> has obtained a leaked document from a Sprint employee which states the HTC Hero has a \u201cmaintenance release tentatively scheduled for April 9th\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The update will fix a bug with Sprint picture mail and we have no other details about what will be included. Sprint previously stated that an update to Android 2.1 was coming in <a href=\"http:\/\/androidandme.com\/2010\/02\/news\/sprint-working-with-manufacturers-to-deliver-android-2-1-updates-by-early-q2-2010\/\">early Q2 2010<\/a> which lead a bunch of sites to speculate April 9th is the day for 2.1, but I have a hard time believing that.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully in about two weeks we will get our answer.
