{"id":700684,"date":"2010-03-25T10:14:53","date_gmt":"2010-03-25T14:14:53","guid":{"rendered":"tag:typepad.com,2003:post-6a00d8341c630a53ef0120a9758114970b"},"modified":"2010-03-25T10:14:53","modified_gmt":"2010-03-25T14:14:53","slug":"police-search-for-gunman-who-killed-a-man-in-south-l-a","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.com\/index\/700684","title":{"rendered":"Police search for gunman who killed a man in South L.A."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Los Angeles police searched Thursday for a man who drove up to a group of people walking on the sidewalk in South L.A. and fired shots at them, killing a man.<\/p>\n<p>The group of friends was walking north in the 7000 block of Raymond Avenue at about 9 p.m. Wednesday when a gray vehicle stopped in front of them, said LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman.<\/p>\n<p> A man got out of the car, ran up to the group and fired several shots, she said.<\/p>\n<p>\nSome people managed to flee, but Daniel Smith, 20, was shot.
