Madge is adding a new stripe to her illustrious career profile: juniors’ clothing designer. <\/p>\n

The trendsetting, pop-singing icon is launching MG Icon LLC — a fashion venture with Iconix that will introduce a series of Madonna-branded businesses, including Material Girl Clothing launching exclusively at Macy’s just in time for Back-to-School sales this August. <\/p>\n

The Material Girl apparel collection will include clothing, shoes, accessories, and jewelry aimed at young women 13-25, and is set to retail between $12 and $40. The goal is fast-fashion for the chic fashionista, with Madonna’s 13-year-old daughter, Lourdes, serving as inspiration for the line.<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time Her Madgesty has taken a stab at designing duds; in 2007, Madonna created a seasonal line for Swedish retailer H&M.<\/p>\n
