Each class is provided with $4,000. The class may increase the amount by raising additional funds which are matched by the Mayerson Foundation dollar for dollar.<\/p>\n<p>To acknowledge the time and effort involved in the preparation of applications, the minimum award amount to nonprofits is $1,000. Faculty members receive additional support through the <a href=\"http:\/\/civicengagement.nku.edu\/\">Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement<\/a>.
