Getting through Hollywood is going to be a chore this weekend as streets close for Sunday’s Academy Awards. A portion of Hollywood Boulevard is already shut down between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive, and L.A. officials said more closures would occur Sunday morning:<\/p>\n
— Hollywood Boulevard will be closed from La
\nBrea Avenue to Cahuenga Boulevard.<\/p>\n
— Highland Avenue will be closed between
\nFranklin Avenue and Sunset Boulevard.<\/p>\n
— Many smaller streets in the area will also be closed.<\/p>\n
— The southbound Highland Avenue offramp from the Hollywood (101) Freeway will
\nbe closed. <\/p>\n
— Metro subway trains will bypass the Hollywood and Highland station
\nbeginning after the last scheduled train Saturday. The trains will continue
\nto bypass the station until 6 a.m. Monday. <\/p>\n
— Parking restrictions will be in place on Hollywood, La Brea, Vine, Highland and many other streets on Sunday, and
\nviolators will be towed. <\/p>\n
