In recognition of Eating Disorders Awareness Week, Feb. 21-27; the Columbia Basin College Counseling department is sponsoring an awareness event to provide resources, education, and support to those affected by eating disorders.&nbsp; The event is Feb. 24, 1-3 p.m. in room TD 435 on the CBC Pasco campus.&nbsp; <\/P><P>The documentary film, America the Beautiful, will be shown.&nbsp; The film examines America\u0092s fixation with outward appearance and the unrealistic standards of beauty dictated to the public by the media, pop culture, and the fashion industry.&nbsp; The film is open to everyone.&nbsp; Those with an interest in learning more about eating disorders or obtaining resources to help them or someone they know who struggles with an eating disorder, are encouraged to attend.<\/P><P>Tables with resource materials on eating disorders will be available in the HUB, 8 a.m. -12 p.m. on Feb. 24.
