That means no more accepting money and\/or hair gel and tanning lotion to show up at a clubs, parties, Bar Mitzvahs, or the local Tastee Freeze. Since finding fame on the trashy reality smash, series stars like The Situation, J-WOWW, Vinny, and Pauly D have been pulling in up to $7,500 a night making appearances at venues across the country. And they&#8217;re not just being asked to show up at clubs and parties, either. Last week, the gang&#8217;s manager, Michael Schweiger, revealed that one fan offered $50,000 to have Pauly D walk her down the aisle at her wedding. <\/p>\n<p>Offers like that are bad for business, says MTV. And network execs are banging the gavel.<\/p>\n<p><object classid=\"clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000\" width=\"500\" height=\"320\" id=\"Redlasso\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/player.redlasso.com\/redlasso_player_b1b_deploy.swf\" \/><param name=\"flashvars\" value=\"embedId=9895a39a-7675-4869-82b1-f764f4228a73&#038;pid=undefined\" \/><param name=\"allowScriptAccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Under the terms of a new contract &#8212; which reportedly pays each cast member approximately $180,000 for Season 2 of <em>Jersey Shore<\/em> &#8212; cast members are now only permitted to make two appearances per week, or face fines from MTV, <em>The New York Post&#8217;s<\/em> Page Six Column said Tuesday.
