With a bevy of Oscar nominations to its credit, <em>Avatar<\/em> has earned more than $2 billion since its release in November. Sam is hoping for a salary that will mirror his role in making the film a blockbuster.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-92160\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A Hollywood snitch tells <em>In Touch: &#8220;The stars were relative unknowns when they made Avatar so their salaries reflected that.
