Matthew Fox is telling his television career to get Lost<\/em>. The 43-year-old actor he has no plans to return to television when the sixth and final season of the shipwreck drama Lost<\/em> wraps in May. <\/p>\n

Does this mean we won’t get to see any more Matt cameos on Sesame Street<\/em>?!<\/p>\n

Matthew says “thrilled” the show is finally coming to an end – because he’s tired of playing the same character.<\/p>\n

“I’ve done two, six-year shows, about 300 hours of television,”<\/em> Fox told UsMagazine.com on Monday. “I’m done with that.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Matthew — who also played Charlie Salinger on the ’90s FOX family drama Party of Five<\/em> — is hoping to relocate his family back to Oregon from their current home in Hawaii and looks forward to spending more time with them.<\/p>\n

“I’m either going to make movies with filmmakers I want to work with or I’ll be doing something else entirely… My family will move to Oregon, back to the country I love. I miss the four seasons climate. We’re building a house up there and I’ll be closer to my brothers and my mother. Our kids will be closer to their first cousins.”<\/em><\/p>\n
