{"id":649528,"date":"2010-01-31T20:48:06","date_gmt":"2010-02-01T01:48:06","guid":{"rendered":"tag:typepad.com,2003:post-6a00d8341c630a53ef0128773bdfef970c"},"modified":"2010-01-31T20:45:32","modified_gmt":"2010-02-01T01:45:32","slug":"police-nab-attempted-rape-suspect-in-windsor-square","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.com\/index\/649528","title":{"rendered":"Police nab attempted rape suspect in Windsor Square"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police arrested a 19-year-old man today on charges that he allegedly tried to rape a woman in a Windsor Square residence. <\/p>\n<p>John Christopher Munoz allegedly entered a residence in the 100 block of South Van Ness Avenue on Friday afternoon by scaling a wall, climbing onto a garage roof and gaining access to a balcony, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Police allege that once inside the residence, Munoz attempted to rape a 56-year-old woman working there, but she fended off the attack, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The LAPD launched a manhunt after the attack, and\u00a0 two patrol officers spotted Munoz on Saturday afternoon. <\/p>\n<p>Detectives believe there may be other victims and are asking that anyone with information call Operations West Bureau, Sexual Assault Detail detectives at (213) 473-0447.
