{"id":643140,"date":"2010-01-26T07:13:40","date_gmt":"2010-01-26T12:13:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.popcrunch.com\/?p=90295"},"modified":"2010-01-26T07:13:40","modified_gmt":"2010-01-26T12:13:40","slug":"victoria-beckham-wanted-to-design-luxury-hotel-in-dubai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.com\/index\/643140","title":{"rendered":"Victoria Beckham Wanted To Design Luxury Hotel In Dubai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Victoria Beckham has been offered nearly $50 million to design a luxury hotel in Dubai, according to a new scoop from London&#8217;s <em>The Mirror<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.popcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/100124K1_BECKHAM_B-GR_02-499x769.jpg?resize=499%2C769\" alt=\"\" title=\"100124K1_BECKHAM_B-GR_02\" width=\"499\" height=\"769\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-90296\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-90295\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The tabloid claims the former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer has been commissioned by Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, leader of Dubai, to create a fashion-themed ambiance for the new hotel &#8212; which  will be located on Isla Moda a man-made archipelago of 300 islands constructed in the shape of a map of the landmasses of the Earth.<\/p>\n<p>Victoria not yet decided whether to accept the job, but if she does, the project will find her working closely with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Even in these credit-crunched times, the fee offered to Victoria was astronomical.
