Well a year in, we&#8217;ve lost the hopey, we&#8217;ve lost the changey, we long ago lost the leftest &#8212; and apparently we&#8217;ve lost the center too.  <\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2010\/01\/25\/AR2010012503549.html?hpid=topnews\">three-effing-year spending freeze<\/a> on every thing but our ability to build bigger, better, bombs and stage more occupations of others.  The National Security State gets another bonus so that most every <em>actual American<\/em> gets little security while every non-American gets to worry about the opposite of security.  Seems like an idea David Broder could love, like an idea only <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2010\/01\/25\/obama-mccain-spending-freeze-video_n_436340.html\">John McCain<\/a> and a Republican could have.<\/p>\n<p>Good thing we made that guy President, huh?<\/p>\n<p>Congrats on coming back to the Obama team, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.abcnews.com\/politicalpunch\/2010\/01\/reacting-to-mass-rebellion-white-house-beefs-up-outside-political-arm.html\">David Plouffe<\/a> &#8212; hope you like beating up the people who voted for your guy, he sure seems to.  Yesterday the President stated <a href=\"http:\/\/thinkprogress.org\/2010\/01\/25\/obama-two-terms\/\">he would rather be a good one-term President than a mediocre two-term President<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Well, Barack,<a href=\"http:\/\/baselinescenario.com\/2010\/01\/26\/the-second-clinton\/\"> how about a little of each<\/a>?
