{"id":640425,"date":"2010-01-14T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2010-01-14T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"tag:magazine.nd.edu,2005:News\/14370"},"modified":"2010-01-15T10:36:06","modified_gmt":"2010-01-15T15:36:06","slug":"networthy-nd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.com\/index\/640425","title":{"rendered":"Networthy ND"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The staff of <em>Notre Dame Magazine<\/em> here offers some gems we&#8217;ve discovered of blogs, essays and stories by and about Notre Dame graduates and ND events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicole Kenney<\/strong>, a 2003 graduate of the Notre Dame design program, was featured by Kate Russell of the <span class=\"caps\">BBC<\/span> for having one of \u201cthe best sites on the World Wide Web.\u201d Kenney calls it <a href=\"http:\/\/diary29.com\/\">a photo from each day I am 29 years old<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brian Doyle<\/strong>, Notre Dame class of 1978, discusses our love of animal mascots in his <em>American Scholar<\/em> piece, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theamericanscholar.org\/go-o-o-o-lemmings\/\">Go-o-o-o Lemmings<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Better World Books co-founders <strong>Xavier Helgesen and Kreece Fuchs<\/strong>, both 2001 ND graduates, were featured in <em>Ode<\/em> magazine\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.odemagazine.com\/doc\/\">25 Intelligent Optimists who are creating a better tomorrow today<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christopher Fenoglio<\/strong>, ND class of 1980, won a first-place award from the Catholic Press Association for his column \u201cReel Life Journeys, which appears in <em>The Tennessee Register<\/em>, the diocesan paper of Nashville.
