It&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/5393970\/the-red-digital-film-cameras-spec-lists-are-as-big-as-their-prices\">same sensor found on the Epic-X<\/a>&mdash;delivering improved imaging and better low light performance.<\/p>\n<p>The unit will also come with an updated version of REDCINE-X that can handle the new and improved video. Red also announced that anyone interested in stepping right up to the Epic-X can get a $1,250 credit if they are accepted into the <a href=\"http:\/\/red.cachefly.net\/A\/OctoberPost.jpg\">beta program in either the first or second stage<\/a>.
